On second visit they came out of their way to give me a quote on the spot! They were honest and helpful with their dealings.
Would recommend them and use their services again.

Windshield hairline crack is now a very obvious stone crack. It is worse than it were before.
While he was 'repairing' the window he told my friend, by law, I should be replacing the whole windshield because the crack is on the drivers side but he'll let this one go. I called a few glass repairers and they all tell me that it is not true; it's better to repair the glass as its easier on the customers pocket and by keeping the original windshield it maintains the structural integrity.
I relayed what I had learnt to Windscreens 4U and he argued that they're lying to me. I called ServiceNSW and they said that you can have 2 hairline cracks no more than 30mm long. My windshield crack is smaller than a 5 cent piece.
Windscreens4U promised to repair the crack but had made it worse (before and after photos have been posted but for whatever reason, my 'before' photo keeps getting hidden)
After calling around for quotes, Windscreens 4U gave me the best price for a repair after seeing my photos. At 10 AM he said they'll arrive to my place at 12 - 1 PM. Two o'clock rolls around; he's still not at my house. I leave to work, two men arrive at my home and speak to my room mate. They then change the work that was promised and put a resin over the crack instead of repairing the window, possibly because he was running out of time - He then took the $80.00 quoted over the phone even though the work performed was not what was agreed upon.
He keeps saying to me and my friend that he would never take his customers money and run - but thats exactly what he did to me
On the day I had received the refund, he told me that he will be at my place that afternoon, he came to my house 10:30 next morning
He is a nice guy and he has a family to feed. So, 5 stars because he was very upset that his 5 star score had been tarnished. But, if I were you, I would pay the extra $50 and go to O'Briens - For peace of mind. Or jump on YouTube and watch tutorials. You may be able to do it yourself.
A positive: The area around the crack was clean but still not worth $80!
